W&W Glass Launches a New Website!

W&W Glass has recently launched their new website to showcase their contract glazing abilities in the metropolitan New York City market as well as provide a wealth of project inspiration and product design information on the Pilkington Planar™ system that they distribute throughout North America. Now architects can view projects in W&W Glass’ extensive portfolio, learn more about the products utilized, and gain valuable in depth detail information on applications and techniques. Users are given the ability to toggle between a “Grid View” displaying images of projects with project names for selection, or they can use the “Map View” to find projects in their area using a Google Maps functionality. Once a project is selected for viewing, aside from information pertaining to the key players and products used, there is a link to get directions to map door to door to see a project in person if desired. The portfolio area provides the ability in both modes to search for a specific project name, product, architect, or location by typing into the search input box and clicking a the magnifying glass button or hitting the enter key. If the client doesn’t know what they are looking for by name, they can easily sort the projects by product application type or project type. There is a large section of the website devoted strictly to the Pilkington Planar™ system for clients looking for information on point-supported structural glazing. On the Pilkington Planar™ page they will find information on the Pilkington Planar™ Advantage, product charts, technical bulletins, CAD details, fitting images, and a short contact form to request assistance with their project. On the new website is a very informative blog updated regularly by W&W pertaining to interesting project expose’s, new technology, and current industry trends. Customers are encouraged to sign up for the W&W Facades Newsletter (found at the bottom of every page) for monthly updates on the blogs and company news. Officials at W&W Glass hope that this site serves as an inspiration to designers and architects creating cutting edge architecture and a resource tool for everyone in the construction industry to stay informed.
